Francois

The artist I most admire and the one that had the most profound influence in me and my work is Andre Francois, who sadly passed away this year. Three years ago, when he was 87, his studio burned down and almost all his works dissapeared. He continued working, using the charred remains of his "oeuvre" to make beautiful and life enhacing collages. I'd like to celebrate Francois and his tremendous "Joie de vivre" with this card he sent me to celebrate the new Millennium. Thanks for everything, Master.
(this need for celebrating came to me after reading in the newspaper about Bush and Blair ..People that contributed NOTHING to humanity even if they were in the position to do so!)
