Polidoro

In 1965 I began to illustrate children books for a small publishing house in Buenos Aires. The intention of this house was to publish fortnightly books that were not blatantly commercial as those published by the bigger companies, and to make them accesible to the general public. They were beautifully narrated and illustrated by excellent young artists. The collection was called "Cuentos de Polidoro" and became quite popular. I drew fifteen of them starting with this one: "Puss in Boots" narrated by Beatriz Ferro
