Yes, Dodos... I've been aware of this for many years. And I also have some WONDERFUL greek tango recordings from the thirties...Unfortunately I don't speak Greek!
Sad I didn't even know this.
Growing up , when we listened to Greek music it'd be slow greek sob stories:

Oscar, veo con el primer caracol, que aprendiste el truco de mi nieta Bianca, de mojar mucho el papel, para que se hagan rayos al escanear... en cuanto al dibujo, ¿que mierda te puedo decir como elogio, que no te hayan dicho antes?
