Mrs. Masham's Repose
Having Illustrated "Gulliver Travels", the publisher asked me to do "Mrs. Masham's Repose" by T.H. White, the author of "The Sword in the Stone". In this novel, a young girl finds in the garden the Lilliputians brought to England by Lemuel Gulliver. Great book!

Dear "Father":
I will post some of those pictures very soon.The book never got published because UK publishers have no idea of how or what to do with books like that. That's why walking into any of the chain bookshops of this land of ours is such a dull experience. Unlike in France,Spain or Italy, for example.
