This is so cool! I like the negative space in-between the horses front legs. I want this on my wall! :)

Another great drawing. Just wondering two things..

Are your drawings on this blog made using a digital tablet or by pen and ink?

Why do you make such large thumbs on many of your figures?

Anyway, I look forward to seeing your work every day!

Hiya, Z! These drawings of late are full pages fom a 220X335mm sketchbook. I drew them in the evenings with a Lamy pen while watching TV after dinner. I have to scan the pages twice and join them together. I normally let the hand draw by itsel without any conception and take over when I see something happening in the page. This book is finished but I still have quite a bit of material to scan from it. I like to date and title the books, this one is called "The Book of Forever and Ever Forever" I started to draw it in August 2010 and completed it the 15th of January 2011..I usually draw in two or three books concurrently.
Thanks for visiting. All the best

Ah...The thumbs. I draw them like that for graphic effect only. A graphic signature perhaps.

Thanks for taking the time to explain the thumbs and your working method and materials. I can't believe you do this while watching TV. Such a variety of ideas and themes. Excellent!!
